Century at dawn
I found this shot in a folder on my Mac yesterday and forgot how much I loved it. Again (like in most of my photography) light is the dominant element. This photo taken in the harbor (harbour) in Vancouver, BC, is of one of our favorite cruise ships—Celebrity's Century. I think we have spent more than two months on board this ship (now retired from Celebrity's fleet) on four separate cruises. We sailed her to Alaska, to Hawaii, around the Western Med and our favorite on this ship, from New Zealand to Australia. I am glad I got this chance to take a special photo of her arriving in port. Yup, she was backing into the pier at sunrise when I took this shot.
